Connect PC to Sony WEGA(SU-RG12L) HDTV

I use 6FT HD15 to RCA Component Video cable to connect PC to Sony WEGA HDTV, but this way does not work.

So I am thinking buy a HDMI card for the PC and buy a HDMI to HDMI cable to connect these two devices.
